Stephanie Walsh - President
Stephanie Walsh is the current president of PST, a licensed mechanical engineer and the president and owner of Walsh Engineering Services, PC. Her company is an Idaho based engineering firm founded in 2005. Walsh Engineering provides support design and fabrication. The company supports construction for government, commercial and industrial customers by licensed Professional Engineers.
Kirt Marlow - Vice President
Kirt Marlow is a Senior Program Manager at Areva. He has over 20 years of technical and business experience in private, government and international sectors managing projects and organizations. Kirt earned his bachelors degree in physiology and Masters degree in nuclear and health physics from Idaho State University.
Greg Crockett - Secretary
Greg Crockett is the managing partner of Hopkins Roden Lawyers. He is a consummate problem solver, negotiator and litigator. He has and continues to represent local and regional clients engaged in banking, real estate development, public health, environmental disputes, corporate dissolution and farming. He and his wife, Tricia, are the parents of one son and enjoy golf, cross-country and downhill skiing, whitewater rafting and Idaho’s great outdoors. Greg earned his bachelors degree from University of Idaho (Business Administration and Finance) and J.D. from University of Idaho.
Bob Skinner - Treasurer
Bob Skinner is the Treasurer for PST. He is a US Navy and Idaho National Laboratory retiree who has worked in health physics, Industrial Safety, transportation of hazardous materials, waste management, and emergency preparedness.
Richard Holman is Past President and a current board member of PST. He is retired from the Idaho National Laboratory after a 32 year career and founded Nuclear Infrastructure Associates in 2013. As President and owner, he is dedicated to providing support to the energy industry and allied educational institutions in the area of workforce development, process/performance improvement, supply chain development and management, and all associated policy and regulatory infrastructure needed by the energy and nuclear industries for safe and efficient operations. Nuclear Infrastructure Associates supports a variety of State, federal and international clients.
Rick Aman is the president of Eastern Idaho Technical College. He is responsible for all college faculty, staff, and operations related to delivery of AAS degrees or certificates in the technical areas of: health professions, Business and IT, Trades and Industries, and workforce development.
Brad Frazee has lived in southeast Idaho for 30 years, and has first-hand working experience with facilities managed by the Department of Energy, Department of Defense, and US Army Corps of Engineers. He has managed operations and projects associated with nuclear and chemical facilities across the US and has safely completed the decommissioning of over 40 facilities. Brad has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and has worked for the North Wind Group for the past five years where he is the Chief Operating Officer. North Wind has offices in ten states providing engineering, construction, and environmental services to commercial, state, and federal clients.
Steve Laflin is a founding member of the Partnership for Science and Technology and served as its first president. He is also the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of International Isotopes Inc., a publicly traded company he founded in 1996. Based in Idaho Falls, International Isotopes Inc. manufactures a range of radioisotopes and nuclear medicine related products. He is also a veteran of the US Naval Nuclear submarine program, has a degree in Physics from Idaho State University, and has held engineering, management, and health physics positions in the nuclear industry.
Mayor Rebecca Casper was elected Mayor of Idaho Falls in November 2013. Mayor Casper serves as a member of the Idaho’s LINE2.0 Commission. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the national Energy Communities Alliance. She is a co-founder and first director of the Mayor’s Scholarship Fund. The Mayor is serving her second 2-year-term as the District 6 Director on the Association of Idaho Cities (AIC) Board. She also sits on the local Idaho Falls City Club Board of Directors and Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors among others. She has served as an adjunct professor of political science at both BYU-ID and EITC. She earned her BA and MA in Political Science from BYU-Provo and her Ph.D. from UC-Berkeley.
Nicole Stricker chairs the Partnership for Science and Technology Communications Committee. She is currently the Senior Science Writer and a Research Communication Liaison at Idaho National Laboratory. Nicole earned a B.A. in biochemistry from the University of Colorado-Boulder and a Ph. D. in neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Erik Simpson is a communications specialist and media spokesman for Fluor Idaho, LLC, which manages Site cleanup for the Department of Energy-Idaho Operations Office. He was an Idaho State Representative from 2008-2012. He has served on the Environment, Energy, and Technology Committee, the Commerce and Human Resources Committee, and the State Affairs Committee.
Eric Schweinsberg is a newly appointed board member to the PST, and is the Idaho Operations Manager for Stoller Newport News Nuclear (SN3). Eric’s company provides a full suite of solutions across the spectrum of U.S. government departments and employs technical professionals located across the United States. Eric worked twenty years at Rocky Flats before coming to the INL in 2001 as the Transuranic Waste Site Project Manager at the AMWTP. He has now been with SN3 for two years, earned a B.S. Degree in Management & Administration, is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and PMP.
Mr. Newgard joined the Bank of Idaho in July 2015 as the President and CEO. Mr. Newgard's financial leadership and commitment to public service led to two gubernatorial appointments as vice chair of Washington Economic Development Finance Authority and as treasurer of the state's Tobacco Settlement Authority. A trusted banking executive, Mr. Newgard was also elected by his peers to lead the Community Bankers of Washington as chairman of the board of directors. Mr. Newgard, who has held a number of leadership positions in regional and community banking since 1998, is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking (Colorado) and holds a Masters of Business Administration from Washington State University and a Bachelor of Arts from Walla Walla College. He has a wife, Savannah, and two daughters.
Connie Chadwick is an investment Manager for Regional Development Alliance, Inc., a private, non-traditional business finance corporation located in Idaho Falls, ID. The company manages a regional business investment fund and a micro-loan business program. They serve local counties and provide financing to ensure economic growth and success for our region.
Timothy Solomon serves as the regional business manager for Rocky Mountain Power. Rocky Mountain Power is a division of PacifiCorp and is a Berkshire Hathaway energy portfolio company. PacifiCorp provides electricity to six (6) states including Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, Oregon, Washington, and California. Tim received both his B.A. and M.A. from Utah State University.
Jackie Flowers is the General Manager of Idaho Falls Power, a locally owned electric utility providing electric service to more than 27,000 metered customers in the City of Idaho Falls. Flowers manages a staff of 70 employees and a $70 million budget. In addition to providing electric service, the utility owns and maintains four hydropower plants along the Snake River in Idaho Falls, maintains nearly 450 miles of transmission & distribution lines and manages the City’s dark fiber optic network. Flowers joined the utility in July 2006 as the first female manager in the utility’s 113 year history. Flowers, a Wyoming native, is a licensed civil engineer with more than 20 years of experience.
Bob Bodell is the site labor coordinator at Bodell Solutions, Inc.
Mike Hart - Ex Officio
Mike Hart is a past president and board member of PST. He is also the president and owner of ComDesigns, Inc., a multimedia science and technology communications firm that specializes in scientific, technical, environmental policy, public outreach, and project communication. ComDesigns supports private sector companies, non-profit organizations, and government agencies.
Michelle Holt - Ex Officio
Michelle Holt currently serves as the President/CEO for the Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce and Snake River Territory Convention & Visitors Bureau. Chamber of Commerce advocates for pro-business policies and legislation, educates by partnering with education leaders, institutions, and businesses to provide educational program, provides program and event opportunities to meet other area business people and supports tourism and hospitality.
